Cultivation theory- by repetitive viewing of violent images the audience may become immune towards negative and/or violent representations, as per ideas about desensitisation (becoming used to graphic/violent images owing to saturation in the media)

Against - Ferguson 2012-2020- no long term link over three years and games are important for socialisation.

Differences between commercial and public service companies

Task 1- Content of  commercial TV channel. Sky One Types of programs on there: comedy CBS Military/Action Drama, Sci-fi/Superhero adventure drama, crime drama.
