Differences between commercial and public service companies

Task 1- Content of  commercial TV channel. Sky One Types of programs on there: comedy CBS Military/Action Drama, Sci-fi/Superhero adventure drama, crime drama. Main purpose: Mainly to entertain Audience groups: All age ranger, all genders but probably not all cultures. 5 Examples of programmes: Modern Family, NCIS: Los Angeles, Supergirl, A Discovery of witches, The Flash. Task 2- content of BBC 2 and Channel 4 Types of programs on there: documentaries, crime drama, period drama, food, factual, entertainment, history, science, comedy ,lifestyle, news and current affairs, sport    Evidence of PSB remit is being followed: Channel 4- The only channel who broadcasted the paralympics.
